I read Slashdot a lot, it’s News For Nerds, Stuff That Matters. They have a system whereby you can have little boxes next to the main stories that give headlines for specific topics, similar to what I do here on my blog.
They also have a system whereby you can download the headlines to your computer to read offline. But they have it set up so that if you request new headlines too often, it blocks you, so that you don’t hammer their server.
Today, they blocked themselves, as you can see in the science box. đ That amuses me.
