I am sure I am not the only person to read this and think, “Aren’t *all* Libertarians radical?”
Well, I am Libertarian but not radical IMO. For instance, I am not convinced we have it right on drug legalization.
Um, could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure that button says, “Librarian”, not, “Libertarian”. They’re quite similar in spelling, but I don’t know that they’re at all similar in a politcal sense.
Ha! While I don’t really think that most Libertarians are radical (I border on it myself–the Libertarian part, not the radical part), the button was created by the American Library Association about LIBRARIANS! You know, the stereotypically stuffy people who work in libraries. 😉
Be sure to read the article. It’s about the CIA calling librarians Radical and Militant because they stood up for the privacy and freedom for people to read what they want to. Pretty funny and cool at the same time.
