I bought Microsoft’s Voice Command 1.5 for my phone yesterday.  It said I could install it to main memory or my chip, but then when I did the installer it said it really should go into main memory, so I cancelled it.  Then I had to uninstall it on the desktop, and re-install.

I’m not sure if it’s because I was running XP in VMWare, but it kept losing my phone, and then I had to reboot to get it to se it again, and then the install failed once, and I had to do it all over again.

Eventually it worked however, and has worked quite well since.  It failed on me once today, but I was outside in a breeze, and when She read it back to me, She pronounced the name differently.

On the whole I’m quite pleased with it.  I still haven’t decided if I want a bluetooth widget.  I think they look pretty freaky, but I can see how handy it would be with voice recognition.
