topher

I found something out today which really surprises me.  If you go to yahoo.com and put topher in the search box at the top and submit it, I’m on top.  Above Topher Grace and all the other Topher’s in the world.

I quit using Yahoo when they started putting a background color on their page (does that mean anything to anyone beside me?), so I haven’t noticed what they do with their search engine. I happened to go there for some reason today to test their engine, and just put myself in for fun.

I can’t really figure out why they would rank me above someone who has a billion more references on the web. But it’s cool. 🙂

I’m on page one of a google search for topher as well.

  1. That IS funny! That your post describing it shows up first is a riot!

Just don’t start singing “Yahoo loves me, this I know…” 🙂

FWIW, searching Yahoo for “pfitz” gets me number one and 4 of the first 10 results. Did you know there’s a BOOK called Pfitz? I found that on Amazon a couple years ago, and of COURSE I had to get it! It’s actually very interesting.

  2. Interesting… searching “cuth” in Google, my page “cuth.net” shows up on the seventh page. On Yahoo, I’m the very first result. Let’s all switch to Yahoo people!

  3. Very exciting…if you enter my name in Google I was #1 the last time I checked. Way cool beating Topher Grace (though I think he is a good actor on That 70’s Show).
