Do you remember Voyager 1?  It’s a satellite launched in 1977, sent out to tour the planets.  It’s well past Pluto now, and telling us things about Deep Space.  It’s found some things that are comlpetely different from what we expected, and can’t be explained by current solar theory.  Check out this article for the neat stuff.  It’s not TOO deep, and space buffs will groove on it.

Sunrise Over SaturnIn other news, the Cassini probe managed to make a full solar eclipse for itself that lasted 4 hours, and they got some GREAT shots of the rings and atmosphere.  They learned lots, and got some great pictures.  There are 5 or 6, check them all out.
