Once upon a time there was a little girl named Dana Owens who could sing like crazy. When she grew up, she got into rap music, got good at it, and changed her name to Queen Latifah. But deep down inside was Dana Owens the singer.
This week, Dana Owens is releasing her first album.. I heard a little of it this morning on TV, and WOW is it good. It’s Big Band, 1940’s kind of music, and she fills out the role perfectly. I’ll probably end up getting this album.
