The other day we were riding the in car and the chatter was a bit intense, so I asked for no talking from the back seat.  This is pretty common, and the girls are good about it.

After a while, Sophi said "Daddy, may we talk again?"

"Sure" I said.

The first thing out of her mouth was "Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way!  O mphpham amthph bliht " etc.  She didn’t know the rest of the words, so I chimed in and started helping out.

"Daddy, may I sing it my way please?  You’re disrupting my song."

‘Scuse me.

  1. We may know the “correct” version of songs, but often their version is much more humorous and enjoyable. Who are we to suck the joy out of their song time??
