Eyjafjallajökull is that volcano that erupted in Iceland last spring. For weeks afterwards I saw collection after collection of amazing pictures. I’ve been meaning to blog them all along, and now’s the time.
These first three came from boston.com’s The Big Picture. There are many more there, and much bigger than I have, so be sure to check them out.
This next one comes from The Telegraph in the UK. Those are the northern lights over the volcano. They have lots more on their site, and bigger too.
Lastly, my buddy Ked posted a video of time-lapse photography that’s really amazing. The original is much bigger, you should watch that one.

Those are unreal!! Was that music on the time lapse Sigur Ros, the band from Iceland?
Fantastic!!! Hoping Nat’l Geo will do a bit on it one of these days.
