On our way up to my brother-in-law’s funeral today, my Dad called and told me that my Mom died this morning at 3:30am.
He was awake and there by her side when she died, and he said it was as peaceful as death can possibly be. She went without pain or struggle, and now she’s with her Lord.
I may have mentioned that her Dad was in a wheel chair all of my life, and it makes me smile to think about her running and playing with her Daddy again.
Thanks for all the comments lately, I appreciate it, even if I don’t get back to everyone.
Topher & Family,
Thank you for posting, I will pass this on.
May God hold you close. Our prayers for you All have been many. What sweet release, what joy for your Mom & Grandmother.
With the Lord’s love and mine,
Topher, we are praying for all of your family this weekend and that God will wrap you in His arms and provide comfort that only He can give.
Topher,
A very rough week for you and your family.
Our prayers are with you all.
What a lot for your family to bear. We’re thinking of you and praying on your behalf for strength and some measure of peace through all this.
The LORD is good,
a refuge in times of trouble.
He cares for those who trust in him.
(Nahum 1:7)
Topher,
I am praying that God will surround you and your family throughout the losses you have suffered. I pray that you will run to God, your refuge, so that you may all experience his care. 2 Cor. 1 says that the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ. Even when we are weighed down with troubles, it is for your comfort and salvation! What a beautiful thought, that your Mom is running and playing with her Dad, and also the Lord her Father! She will never again know pain or trouble.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers Topher.
Anne’s joy is our comfort. We are praying for all of you. Memories of Anne will always be with me, since she was a part of my life since birth. She will be missed, but we are glad for her release from this world and her joy in the eternal world with Christ her Savior. We love you all.
I can’t imagine what you’re going through right now. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
I’m praying for you and for your family, Topher.
Hey Topher … I am so sad for you because of the tough couple weeks you’ve had … but I’m glad to hear that it was peaceful, and also that it seems you got to spend more time with her than you were originally expecting.
We’ll keep praying for you and your family.
Hey guys… we’re praying for you.
