Last August, my friend Alan referred a side job to me dealnig with podcasts. Bill worked for the place that runs Creation Festival, and wanted a site to post some podcasts.
Since then it has grown into a site offering dozens of podcasts on a wide range of topics. I actually started coding on it in January, with a hoped released date in February. It grew and grew and grew however, and released on 9 June as Monsterpod.org.
I didn’t do any of the design work, that was done by Trevor at cacpro.com. I was very relieved when one of the first things he said to me was "I develop sites using CSS and XHTML". I’m sure he was relieved to hear me say "Great, me too".
So I’ve been working on this site almost every night since January. My wife is very tired of it, but the extra income has been great. I’ve learned a TON about what I do; new technologies, new ways to code, etc.
Check it out and let me know what you think.
Oh, that’s what you were talking about back then … 🙂
