I’m sure everyone’s familiar with Van Gogh’s Starry Night. If not, click that link and read about it. 馃檪 In 1971 Don McLean (who wrote and performed “American Pie“) wrote a song called “Vincent“, about Van Gogh, using Starry Night as the base theme. It’s a haunting, sad song, about a haunted, sad life.
Recently a person who goes by the name of Robbie Dingo created the scene from Starry Night in Second life. He was curious what it would look like in 3d. He made a video of the creation process, and set it to Don McLean’s song “Vincent”. It’s really really cool, and I strongly urge you to watch the video. It’s only about 5 minutes long. He made a variety of sizes and formats, including Flash.
