The other day Faith (Mission Network News maven) loaned me The Future Sound Of Gaeldom, an excellent collection of modern Scottish/Irish/Celtic music. At this point, remove all thoughts of Enya from your mind.
This cd has a little of everything, from Salsa Keltica (hot salsa) to This Sky Thunder (techno/trance) and there’s even some brass music. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear ANY of it on Digitally Imported’s streams.
It’s hard to describe, but it’s all really excellent stuff, so if you’re interested in trying it, look me up or buy it yourself, ya mooch.
