To day my friend Cal let me ride his ReBike.  It’s a 21 speed, with multiple sprockets on both front and back.  it’s not as reclined as I expected, but still a lot more than a regular bike.  The seat is vaguely like a tractor seat, which is to say very comfortable.

The front tire is a lot smaller than the back, and I didn’t anticipate how significantly different it would feel.  It was particularly difficult to get started.  I leaned over quite a bit in high speed turns, and was afraid to pedal while turning, but when I stopped and check how much space I had, my fears proved unfounded.

All in all, it was very fun.  It whetted my ambition to try a fully reclined bike, but until someone I know gets one, it’ll have to wait.

  1. Well, by “I can’t wait till I actually start getting paid for this”, I meant programming in general. But if the opportunity ever arises to do a little web development for pay, I wouldn’t hesitate. 🙂

  2. I found your comment just before I was about to leave for church, lol. I skimmed the sites. I talked to my pastor a VERY little today, and I used the word “hire” so that he knows I would prefer/expect to be paid. He let me know who currently takes care of the website and said to talk to her, so I’m going to do that. I have no idea how to go about it, though. What should I say to her?
