I haven’t been very happy with CrossOver Office 3.0.1. It just hasn’t worked well for me at all. But I’ve had good success with older versions, and have faith that the next version (due RSN) will resolve most of the issues I have problems with.

One of the things I like about them as a company is their up-front attitude with customers. Take their iTunes page for example. They admit up front that it’s mostly vaporware (though provide a download, it’s not THAT far out), and tell you that it’ll most likely hurt your machine. Not in the traditional “we take no blame blah blah blah” sense, but say right out:

“SO INSTALL THIS INTO A SEPARATE, TEST USER ACCOUNT, OR YOU’LL BE SORRY.”

and

“Further, DON’T TRY THIS AT ALL UNLESS YOU ARE A BLEEDING EDGE LINUX NUT CASE.”

That’s pretty plain.
